Which stories these numbers count
Applies to every figure on this page, including the status region above.
- Archived
- Archived stories are dropped before any metric reads them. Shortcut keeps an archived
story's old sprint, so counting it would double-count work that was re-created.
- Sub-tasks
- A sub-task is never counted. The parent story is the planning unit and its own estimate
is the figure used, even when the sub-tasks sum to something else.
- Backlog state
- A story sitting in a backlog-type workflow state is excluded — the team never committed
to it for the sprint.
- Delivered
- Points Completed, Typical Pace, the Pace Signal baseline, Trailing 30 Days,
Roadmap Allocation and Work Type count a story only in Done or
Ready to Deploy. Won't Fix never counts, even though Shortcut
marks it complete.
